Responsibilities:
Surgical Technologist will assist with various types of surgical operations and performs related services such as providing necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment for operations according to hospital policies and routine of the surgeon.
Minimum Requirements Requires graduation from an accredited surgical technology program or other avenue of entry otherwise acceptable to the Association of Surgical Technologists, Inc.
; Successful completion of certification exam administered by the Liaison Council on Certification (certifying body of the Association of Surgical Technologists, Inc.
or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) is required, or must successfully complete certification exam within 1 year of hire Prior operating room experience is preferred.
